Single conductor solid or strand- ed, bare annealed copper, low density high molecular weight Polyethylene insulation.
2.0 APPLICATION:
Outstanding dielectric strength, moisture resistance and low capacitance of the high molec- ular weight Polyethylene, cou- pled with its high resistance to corrosive chemicals, makes this the optimum Tracer Wire for locating buried Utilities. Polyethylene is resistant to salt water and most organic and inorganic substances. A.P.W.A. Color Code: Gas-Yellow, Water- Blue, Fiber-Orange.
